OUTSIDE THE FARMHOUSE – DUSK 농가 밖 – 해 질 녘
Remy watches the farmhouse, drawn to the warm light and the 레미가 농가를 바라보고 있다. 안에서 흘러나오는
sounds emanating from inside. 따뜻한 불빛과 소리에 마음이 이끌린다.

REMY (V.O.) I know I’m supposed to hate humans. 레미 (목소리) 인간을 혐오해야 한다는 걸 알지

INT. FARMHOUSE – KITCHEN 실내. 농가 – 주방
Remy carefully sneaks into the kitchen. 레미가 주방으로 몰래 들어온다.

REMY (V.O.) They don’t just survive. They discover, 레미 (목소리) 인간들은 단지 생존만 하는 게 아

말하며 요리한다. 레미가 물끄러미 바라본다.
GUSTEAU (on TV) How can I describe it? Good food is 구스토 (TV 화면) 이걸 어떻게 설명해야 할까요?
like music you can taste, color you can smell. 좋은 요리는 맛을 느낄 수 있는 음악과 같습니다.
There is excellence all around you. You need 그리고 향을 느낄 수 있는 색깔이라 할 수도 있죠.
only be aware to stop and savor it. 주변에 훌륭한 요리는 많습니다. 의식적으로 잠시
멈춰서 그걸 음미할 필요가 있죠.
Remy notices a leftover plate of FRUITS & CHEESES. He picks up a 레미는 접시 위에 먹다 남은 과일과 치즈를 발견
small slice of cheese and takes a bite. 한다. 작은 치즈 조각을 집어 들고 한입 베어 문다.

REMY (V.O.) Oh, Gusteau was right. Oh, mmm, yeah. 레미 (목소리) 오, 구스토의 말이 옳아. 오, 음, 그
Oh, amazing. Each flavor was totally unique. 래. 오, 끝내주는걸. 각각의 풍미가 완전 독특해.

As Remy closes his eyes his surroundings FADE TO BLACK. An 레미가 눈을 감자 주변 배경이 서서히 검게 변한
amorphous COLORED SHAPE appears above his head accompanied 다. 형태를 걷잡을 수 없는 여러 색깔의 모양들이
