Vibrations Make Sound

How can we hear sound? Sound is actually vibrations. Here is an

example. Pluck a string on a guitar. It

moves back and forth quickly. This

is a vibration, and it makes sound

waves. The sound waves reach our

ears. They vibrate our eardrums and

send the information to the brain.

Then the brain recognizes it as sounds.

We hear all sounds like bells, voices, and

music the same way.
