is the oceans’ salt water. The hot sun shines down on the water

in the oceans. When the sun heats up the water, it evaporates
into the sky.

Water vapor in the air cools and condenses into tiny
7
droplets. Bunches of tiny droplets collect into clouds. The water
from the clouds falls back to the Earth’s surface. We call it rain
or snow. They fall back into the oceans, rivers, and lakes. And
some of the water evaporates back into the air. In this way, the
8
water cycle changes salt water in the oceans into fresh water
every day.
