01 제가 다섯 살 때 저희 부모님은 아들이 있으면 하셨어요. 01 When I was five, my parents wanted to have a baby boy.

02 제게는 지금 남동생이 둘 있습니다. 02 I now have two brothers.

03 저희 집은 언제나 북적거리죠. 03 It is always crowded in my house.
04 저는 동생에게 지하철에서 산 면도기를 줬어요. 04 I gave my younger brother the razor I bought on the subway.

05 동생은 그것을 마음에 들어 했죠. 05 He liked it.

술고래인 06 06 We went out to have a drink.
남동생 우리는 술을 마시러 밖으로 나갔습니다.
07 동생은 술고래인데 하루 걸러 술을 마셔요. 07 My brother drinks like a fish and he drinks every other day.

08 반면에 저는 맥주 한 잔만 마셔도 취하죠. 08 On the other hand, I get drunk after only a glass of beer.

09 술을 잘 마시고 싶지만 그럴 수가 없습니다. 09 I want to drink well but I just can’t.
10 우리는 함께 소주 한 병만 마셨지만 제 얼굴은 빨갛게 변했어요. 10 We only had one bottle of soju together but my face turned red.

11 우리는 산책을 하려고 공원에 갔죠. 11 We went to the park to take a walk.

12 공원에는 정원과 조각상 몇 점, 그리고 호수가 있었어요. 12 In the park, we could see a garden, some statues, and a lake.

새들에게 15 우리는 한 시간 가량 걷다가 벤치에 앉았어요. 15 We walked for about an hour and sat on a bench.

16 동생은 새들에게 모이를 주기 시작했죠. 16 My brother started to feed some birds.

17 한 2분쯤 지나자 우리가 있는 곳에 새떼가 몰려 왔어요. 17 About two minutes later, a flock of birds came to where we were.

18 제가 불안해해서 우리는 그 공원에서 나오고 말았습니다. 18 I felt nervous so we left the park.
